Sjenica has reached an agreement to transport its municipal waste to neighboring municipalities. Starting today, waste will be diverted to landfills in Prijepolje, Priboj, and Nova Varoš. This temporary measure was announced by the president of the local self-government. The arrangement aims to resolve immediate waste management issues within Sjenica. Neighboring districts are providing critical infrastructure support to prevent local accumulation. This collaborative effort ensures the continued disposal of communal refuse. The move highlights the regional interdependence of these administrative areas.
