The National Council of Social Service (NCSS) will invest over $5 million to broaden access to addiction support services in Singapore. Currently, ten social services agencies deliver the Addiction Support Programme for Inclusion, Recovery and Empowerment (ASPIRE). The increased funding aims to encourage more agencies to participate in delivering these crucial services. This expansion will specifically target individuals struggling with addictions to gambling, pornography, and gaming. The NCSS initiative recognizes the growing need for specialized support in these areas. By involving more agencies, the goal is to reach a wider population and offer more comprehensive help to those seeking recovery. The program focuses on inclusion, recovery, and empowering individuals to overcome their addictions.
