Six Indonesian Navy special forces personnel from the Paskal unit were successfully rescued after becoming lost following a free-fall parachuting exercise. The incident occurred due to sudden and adverse weather conditions which severely hampered visibility during the descent. Navy officials confirmed the team missed their designated landing site as a result of the unexpected changes. A search and rescue operation was immediately launched, culminating in the safe recovery of all six officers. No injuries were reported among the Paskal team.
