NATO’s top military leadership arrived in Finland on Tuesday, demonstrating a strong commitment to security and preparedness. According to Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, the visit serves as a clear message of NATO’s readiness to respond to potential threats. The delegation traveled to Finland aboard a Polish Air Force transport aircraft, escorted by a significant fighter jet formation from both Sweden and Finland. This escort, equipped with interceptor missiles, provided robust air defense throughout the flight. Notably, four fighter jets – a combination of Swedish and French aircraft – flew alongside the transport plane simultaneously. The display underscores increased military cooperation and a unified front in the Nordic region.
