The National Library of Peru has opened a new digital printing center, “Letras de la Peruanidad,” in San Borja. This initiative aims to accelerate publication and broaden the distribution of books and bibliographic heritage across Peru, reaching schools, communities, and libraries in various regions. The center has already successfully completed a trial run, printing 13 titles and over 5,000 copies. The new facility will facilitate greater access to Peruvian literature and cultural materials nationwide. This expansion supports the library’s mission to preserve and disseminate Peru's literary and historical wealth. The project seeks to decentralize access to information and promote literacy throughout the country. Ultimately, the printing center represents a significant investment in Peru’s cultural infrastructure.
