Mongolia’s annual “Hypertension Prevention Campaign” began in Arkhangai province, aiming to prevent and detect high blood pressure. The initiative, a collaboration between HAAN Bank, the National Center for Public Health, the Third State Central Hospital, and Mongolian National Public Radio and Television, has been running since 2017. Over the past nine years, the campaign has reached 21 provinces and provided medical check-ups and health advice to over 72,000 citizens. This year’s campaign will focus on specialized examinations related to cardiovascular diseases, stroke, kidney problems, and digestive disorders. Residents can receive free screenings, health information, and preventative advice at the campaign events. The team will operate in Arkhangai until the 20th of the month before moving on to Zavkhan province, encouraging citizens to prioritize preventative healthcare.
