A businessman in Narayanganj, Bangladesh, has filed a police report after being robbed of 18 lakh taka (approximately $18,000 USD) by individuals falsely claiming to be Detective Branch (DB) police officers. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon near the Dhakeshwari graveyard in Port Upazila. The victim, Altaf Hossain, formally lodged a complaint with Port Police Station on Friday, naming three to four unidentified individuals as suspects. Authorities have yet to make any arrests in connection with the case as of Saturday afternoon. The brazen daylight robbery has raised concerns about security and potential abuse of authority. Police are currently investigating the matter and working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
