MTN Ghana has completed the refurbishment of 300 beds at the Ho Teaching Hospital in a project aimed at enhancing healthcare access. The initiative directly addresses the recurring issue of “no-bed” situations faced by Ghanaian hospitals, where patients are turned away due to a lack of available beds. MTN’s contribution seeks to improve the quality of care provided at the facility and alleviate pressure on existing resources. The project forms part of MTN Ghana’s broader corporate social responsibility efforts focused on supporting community health. Hospital officials have welcomed the donation, highlighting its potential to significantly improve patient comfort and treatment outcomes. The refurbished beds are now available for use, increasing the hospital’s capacity to accommodate patients. This intervention is expected to positively impact healthcare delivery in the Volta Region and beyond.
