A measles vaccination campaign in Nacarôa district, Nampula province, Mozambique, successfully vaccinated over 33,000 children. The campaign, conducted from August 7th to 11th, targeted children aged six months to 59 months, reaching 33,457 individuals. This achievement represents 108% of the initially established goal, indicating a highly effective operation. The initiative was led by UniLúrio University in partnership with other organizations. The campaign aimed to block a measles outbreak and protect vulnerable children in the region. The effort highlights successful public health intervention in a rural area of Mozambique. This demonstrates a positive step in controlling infectious diseases within the community.
