The Mozambican government is investing 1 billion meticais in the maintenance of a 165-kilometer stretch of the EN1 highway, a crucial national road. The project focuses on improving traffic flow and overall road conditions between Nicoadala and Chimuara in Zambézia province. Currently, three construction companies are involved in the roadworks. This investment aims to address transitability issues and facilitate smoother transportation along this important route. The repairs are expected to benefit both local communities and national trade.
