A 42-year-old tourist was injured while mountain biking near the resort town of Azuga, Romania on Saturday. Mountain rescue teams in Prahova County and a SMURD helicopter were deployed to assist in the rescue operation. The biker sustained a fractured clavicle as a result of the accident. Due to the location and severity of the injury, the man was airlifted by helicopter to Brașov County Emergency Hospital for treatment. The rescue operation was successfully completed, and the tourist is now receiving medical care. Authorities are reminding mountain bikers to exercise caution and wear appropriate safety gear.
