Morocco is currently experiencing a robust grain harvest, with daily collections surpassing 100,000 quintals as of June 15th. The Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests announced the figures during a session at the House of Councillors. The majority – approximately 84 percent – of the collected grain originates from the Casablanca-Settat, Fez-Meknes, and Marrakech-Asfi regions. Agriculture Minister Ahmed Bouayadi provided the update, indicating a positive trend in this year’s harvest. The increased yield suggests a successful growing season for key agricultural areas within the country. These initial collections point towards a potentially strong overall grain production for Morocco this year. Further details regarding the total expected yield were not immediately available.
