Morocco participated on Monday in the "Lumière Summit" held in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, France, the first international summit dedicated to the future of cinema and moving images. The summit was co-chaired by the President of the French Republic and the President of the Republic of Korea. A joint statement from the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and the Moroccan Cinema Centre indicated the event brought together approximately 200 public officials, business managers, creators, producers, distributors, and representatives. The "Lumière Summit" served as a platform for discussion and collaboration regarding the evolving landscape of the film industry. Morocco’s presence underscored its commitment to engaging in international dialogue surrounding the future of cinema. The summit aimed to address key challenges and opportunities within the global cinematic ecosystem.
