The Royal Moroccan Armed Forces are participating in the multinational naval exercise “PHOENIX EXPRESS 26,” hosted by Tunisia from September 8th to 16th. The exercise, conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Navy, involves approximately 400 military personnel and observers from 13 nations. Participating countries include Spain, France, Georgia, Turkey, Egypt, and Italy. According to a statement from the U.S. Sixth Fleet, the exercise aims to strengthen maritime security and interoperability amongst the participating forces. The drill takes place within Tunisian waters and is designed to enhance regional collaboration. This participation highlights Morocco’s commitment to joint security efforts in the region and its strong relationship with international partners.
