Moniepoint Inc. and Sanitary Aid for Nigerian Girls (S.A.N.G) have collaborated to support 500 schoolgirls in Lagos, addressing both period poverty and financial literacy. The initiative provided menstrual hygiene products and educational resources to the students. This partnership aims to combat the challenges young girls face due to lack of access to sanitary products and financial knowledge. The program was launched in recognition of World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026 and involved volunteers from Moniepoint alongside S.A.N.G. facilitators. By combining menstrual health support with financial education, the organizations hope to empower these students and promote their overall well-being. The effort underscores a growing focus on addressing period poverty and its impact on educational opportunities for girls in Nigeria.
