Mongolia’s national university entrance exams commenced today with 49,014 registered test-takers across 55 testing centers nationwide. The exams began with Mongolian history, a subject traditionally with lower participation rates. This year, medical personnel and psychologists are stationed at each testing center to provide support to students, alongside security personnel maintaining order. Authorities advise students to arrive early to minimize stress and maximize performance. A key development is the provision of dedicated testing centers and accommodations for students with special needs, including enlarged text, Braille materials, and assistive listening devices, based on submitted documentation. Students must bring identification, registration forms, and educational certificates. Exam durations vary, with science subjects allotted 100 minutes and others 80 minutes; strict rules prohibit electronic devices and other prohibited materials to prevent cheating, with violations resulting in disqualification.
