The Social Insurance Fund of Mongolia reported a total revenue of 3.8 trillion MNT for the first half of this year. This figure represents an 18.4 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The growth was primarily driven by increases in the pension, benefit, and occupational hazard insurance funds. Meanwhile, total expenditures rose by 15.1 percent, reaching 3.3 trillion MNT. This spending increase was largely influenced by higher payouts from the pension and unemployment insurance funds. During this period, pensions were distributed to 531,100 people. This number of recipients marks a 2.4 percent increase over the previous year's corresponding period.
