Mongolia’s annual Khuree Tsam-Naadam festival commenced on June 27th and 28th at Khui Doloon Khudag. The festival began at 10:00 AM, rooted in reverence for Ochirvaani Buddha and Chinggis Khan. Over two days, the event features traditional Mongolian sports including wrestling, horse racing, archery, and ankle bone shooting, alongside a competition showcasing Buddhist artistry. A trade fair displaying products from local manufacturers is also part of the festivities. The third round of the wrestling tournament concluded today, with the fourth round scheduled to begin tomorrow at 3:00 PM. The Naadam festival is a significant cultural event for the Mongolian people.
