Mongolia currently holds sufficient reserves of key fuels, according to government reports. As of today, the country has an 11-day supply of AI-92 gasoline, 13 days of AI-95, 18 days of diesel, and 10 days of aviation fuel. These reserves are bolstered by recent imports from Russia, which delivered 9,720 tons of AI-92 gasoline – 162 railcars’ worth – between August 1st and 5th. The government has also implemented measures to regulate fuel purchases, increasing accessibility. Since these regulations came into effect, daily fuel purchases have risen from 38,000 to 115,000 vehicles, representing a 2.5-fold increase in access. This indicates improved fuel distribution and availability across the country.
