Mongolia’s university entrance exams commenced today with a new system providing immediate score reporting to test-takers. Upon completion, students scan their answer sheets into a device to view their preliminary scores on a screen. The process utilizes blockchain technology, ensuring direct transmission of results to both the National Testing Center (NTC) and university servers, eliminating manual intervention. Official results and certificates will be accessible through the NTC website and the e-Mongolia platform. These initial scores represent points earned out of 100, distinct from percentile rankings calculated later. Organizers emphasize the exam’s increasing sophistication and public trust in its fairness and accuracy, dismissing potential misinformation regarding leaked questions or scoring errors. They state no exam breaches have occurred in the past 20 years and the system prevents such occurrences.
