Protesters allegedly entered company campsites without authorization on August 14th and 15th, disrupted work, and filmed the facilities, claiming the company was attempting illegal oil extraction. Police responded to reports of trespass, property damage, and disturbances, launching a criminal investigation. The individuals involved have been held in custody for 30 days while the investigation proceeds under specific articles of the Mongolian Criminal Code.
