Mongolia’s ninth parliamentary session concluded today after 79 days of meetings. During the spring session, lawmakers approved 18 primary laws, two revised laws, 188 amendments, seven international treaties, and five laws deeming others invalid, alongside 58 resolutions. Parliament Speaker S. Byambatsogt noted this session saw a high volume of legislation, with 43 of the 79 submitted bills initiated by members of parliament. Over the past two years, the State Great Khural (parliament) has ratified a total of 341 laws, with 278 of those being passed during this spring session alone. This represents a significant legislative output during the midpoint of the current parliamentary term. The session focused on a broad range of legal matters impacting the nation.
