Mongolia’s Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Ts. Idderbat, will hold an open press briefing at the State Palace at 10:30 AM regarding current issues. The briefing will focus on the harvest, implemented measures, the situation with foot-and-mouth disease among goats, and related response measures, as well as matters connected to hearings in the sector. Simultaneously, the Mongolian Trade Union Federation (MTUF) will host a press conference at its central office at 11:00 AM. This conference will address the 2026 budget adjustments, the 2027 budget draft, and the implementation of collective bargaining agreements concerning minimum wage revisions. The MTUF will reportedly detail how funds are allocated within the budget, reasons for non-implementation of decisions regarding worker salaries, and outline their position on these matters.
