A youth-led campaign promoting mindful screen time and digital culture has launched in Mongolia with the installation of a large “Enough” sign in Sukhbaatar Square. The initiative aims to encourage responsible technology use and highlights the negative impacts of excessive screen time on daily life. Organizers suggest four key habits for healthier digital habits: limiting phone use around children, creating screen-free mealtimes, avoiding phones in bed, and refraining from phone use while driving. The campaign emphasizes that “Enough” represents listening to one’s internal voice and recognizing when consumption becomes excessive. Running for a month, the movement advocates for gradual changes rather than abrupt cessation of screen use, offering these four guidelines as a starting point for improved wellbeing.
