Mongolia’s Khan Bank has secured a €19.55 million financing agreement with Bpifrance, a French state investment bank, to modernize the nation’s air navigation services. The funding will be channeled through the Trade and Development Bank. The agreement, signed by the CEOs of both banks, marks the first financial support stemming from a cooperation agreement between Khan Bank and Bpifrance established in July 2025. The project will focus on installing advanced navigation systems and equipment in regional air traffic control centers in Ulaanbaatar and Sainshand. Additionally, the initiative includes measures to strengthen cybersecurity and enhance the skills of professionals in the aviation sector. Khan Bank, a leading financial institution in Mongolia, holds significant market share in foreign exchange and trade finance, and aims to contribute to the country’s economic growth through strategic project funding.
