Mongolia’s Ministry of Health has announced that the first two hours of parking at all state-owned hospital parking facilities will be free of charge, following an order from the Minister of Health. The decision aims to reduce burdens on citizens seeking medical care and prevent parking fees from hindering access to essential health services. Patients will be exempt from parking costs by presenting their medical records or appointment confirmations. Health Minister E. Batshugar stated the ministry will focus on digitizing the exemption process to create a simpler and more efficient experience for the public. This initiative intends to streamline access to healthcare and reduce financial stress for patients. The ministry hopes this change will improve patient experience and overall healthcare accessibility. Further improvements to the system are planned for future implementation.
