Mongolia has begun issuing digital apostille certificates for basic and complete secondary education qualifications and transcripts through the national “E-Mongolia” platform. This new system streamlines the process for citizens needing to use these documents internationally, eliminating the need for notarization and certified translation. The digital apostille ensures the authenticity of the documents, and their validity can be verified by scanning the QR code on the certificate. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to expand the types of documents eligible for digital apostilles and increase language options. This initiative aims to simplify and expedite document authentication procedures for Mongolian citizens abroad. The system provides a secure and efficient way to validate educational records for international use.
