Moldova has condemned Russia after five drones crashed within its territory over a period of just under 24 hours. The five Russian drones entered Moldova’s airspace over a 17-hour period from Thursday to Friday. All drones crashed, the majority doing so in the north and east of Moldova. One person sustained minor injuries as a result of the incidents, and there was some minor property damage. Moldova strongly objects to the violation of its airspace and the presence of the drones. Authorities are investigating the crashes and assessing the full extent of the impact.
