A state-of-the-art slaughterhouse has been inaugurated in Jhenaidah municipality, Bangladesh. The project was completed under the Livestock and Dairy Development Project (LDDP) of the Department of Animal Husbandry, operating within the Ministry of Fisheries and Animal Resources. Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md. Asaduuzzaman Khan Kamal officially opened the facility on Wednesday, June 17th. The new slaughterhouse aims to facilitate the hygienic and modern slaughtering of livestock. This development is expected to improve public health standards and ensure safer meat products for consumers in the region. The project represents a significant investment in the modernization of the country’s food processing infrastructure.
