A fire in a double-storey rented house in Taman Perkota Hang Tuah, Melaka, injured three residents and prompted the rescue of six individuals early today. An elderly man and a woman sustained burns, while another man was treated for breathing difficulties after being trapped inside the burning building. Firefighters responded to the scene in Bukit Baru and successfully rescued all occupants. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by authorities. The house was reportedly fully destroyed by the blaze. All three injured individuals were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
