Czech singer Marek Ztracený is set to become the first domestic artist to headline a concert at Prague’s Letná Plain on August 7th. The venue has previously hosted international stars like The Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson. Ztracený downplayed the significance of the event for himself, stating it feels “almost amusing” that he is headlining such a prominent location. A stage and grandstand capable of holding tens of thousands of attendees are currently under construction. The singer emphasized this performance isn’t about ego, but accepting a significant challenge. Preparations for the large-scale concert have been underway for over a week. This concert marks a major milestone for Czech music and a noteworthy event for Prague.
