A man sustained serious injuries after jumping in front of a subway train at the I. P. Pavlova station in Prague on Tuesday evening. The incident caused significant disruption to service on the C line of the Prague metro. Firefighters were required to extricate the injured man from the tracks. He was subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities have not yet released details regarding the man’s identity or the circumstances leading to the incident, but it is being investigated as a suicide attempt. Metro service was temporarily suspended while emergency services responded and the area was cleared. The disruption caused delays for commuters throughout the evening.
