The National Administration "Apele Române" (ANAR) has announced the winning project for the modernization of the beach in Mamaia. The initiative involves an investment of 1.5 million euros aimed at upgrading the resort's infrastructure. A primary focus of the project is ensuring full accessibility for all visitors, including people with disabilities. The redevelopment plan includes the installation of new playgrounds and dedicated first-aid points. Additionally, specific zones will be established to facilitate the operations of emergency intervention teams. The winning design was selected through the international competition titled "Litoral. Mamaia, Constanţa." Once completed, the works are expected to significantly transform the resort's coastal appeal and functionality.
