Infrastructure at Kuantan Air Base in Pahang, Malaysia, is slated for completion by October to accommodate the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s (RMAF) newly acquired FA-50M light combat aircraft. The FA-50M jets were purchased from South Korea. This development signifies an upgrade to the RMAF’s capabilities. The base preparations will ensure the RMAF can effectively operate and maintain the new fleet. The project focuses on providing necessary support facilities for the aircraft. Officials anticipate a smooth integration of the FA-50M into the RMAF’s operational roster following the completion of the base upgrades.
