Ukraine launched a large-scale drone attack on Moscow and surrounding areas, with Moscow’s mayor reporting at least 650 drones deployed since last night. The governor of Moscow reported at least two fatalities and nine injuries across sixteen municipalities in the Moscow region, with 47 homes sustaining damage. Russian state media are calling it the largest drone attack on the region in two years, and the Kyiv Independent reports strikes on a large Russian oil facility near Konstantinovo, approximately forty kilometers from Moscow. Simultaneously, Ukrainian drones targeted two facilities at the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, resulting in one fatality, though Rosatom claims there is no threat to nuclear safety. Additionally, a bridge over the Dnieper River in Zaporizhzhia was attacked, injuring five people, including two Red Cross workers. Ukraine has not yet commented on the incidents.
