Daveigh Chase, the American actress best known for voicing Lilo in Disney’s *Lilo & Stitch*, has died at the age of 35. Chase began her career as a child, with early roles in television shows like *Sabrina the Teenage Witch* and *Donnie Darko*. She gained wider recognition for her voice work as Lilo, a role considered a highlight for Disney during a less successful period for the animation studio, and for her chilling performance in *The Ring*. Despite initial success, Chase stepped away from Hollywood, preferring a quieter life, according to her manager. She faced personal struggles including legal issues and family estrangement, and was recently hospitalized for severe malnutrition. Chase succumbed to complications from meningitis and sepsis after being admitted to a Los Angeles hospital earlier this month.
