LEONI Cable Solutions is establishing its first African manufacturing facility in Kénitra, Morocco, with an investment of 630 million Moroccan dirhams (approximately $63 million). Located within the Atlantic Free Zone, the 48,000 square meter site will house 18,000 square meters of industrial and office space. The plant will specialize in producing automotive cables – including single-core, multi-core, and data transmission cables – for next-generation vehicles. This expansion signifies LEONI’s commitment to serving the growing automotive industry and its supply chain needs in Africa. The facility is expected to contribute to Morocco’s developing automotive sector and create new employment opportunities. Production will focus on components essential for modern vehicle technology. The project underscores the increasing foreign investment in Morocco’s industrial zones.
