A special exhibition showcases the artistic collaboration between painter Lee Ufan and ceramicist Park Young-sook. The partnership began in the early 1980s when Lee discovered Park's unique transparent white porcelain in an Insadong gallery. Lee was captivated by the porcelain's purity, which provided an ideal canvas for his minimalist brushwork. Park, in turn, focused on creating vessels that could harmonize with Lee's philosophical approach to art. The exhibition highlights the synergy between the tactile nature of ceramics and the fluid motion of ink. Visitors can observe how the two artists blended their distinct mediums to explore themes of space and void. This collection represents a lifelong dialogue between two masters of Korean contemporary art.
