The final group of Hajj pilgrims from North Sumatra has returned to Indonesia, marking the end of the pilgrimage season for the province. Kloter 17, departing from Kualanamu International Airport, consisted of 229 pilgrims. This group concludes the repatriation process for all Sumatran pilgrims who participated in the Hajj this year. The Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) of the Medan embarkation station confirmed the completion of the return journey. The return signifies the end of logistical operations related to the Sumatran contingent’s pilgrimage. Authorities are now focusing on post-pilgrimage administrative tasks and welcoming the returning pilgrims home. This concludes a significant period of religious observance and travel for the community.
