Finnish authorities have uncovered a professional cannabis cultivation operation in the Uusimaa region that spanned several years, from 2019 to 2026. Investigators estimate the group cultivated nearly 100 kilograms of marijuana during this period. The investigation, however, extended beyond drug production to reveal serious financial crimes. Evidence suggests the group engaged in aggravated money laundering activities to conceal the profits generated from the illegal cannabis trade. Furthermore, significant tax evasion offenses were also discovered. The ongoing preliminary investigation details the scope of the operation and associated criminal activity. Authorities are continuing to pursue the case, focusing on those implicated in both the drug cultivation and financial crimes.
