A rare painting by Czech artist František Kupka, “Lines, Planes, Depth II” (1913), will be displayed for a single day at the Museum and Gallery of the Orlické Mountains in Rychnov nad Kněžnou. The exhibit coincides with the opening of the “Sacra Familia!” exhibition on June 26th. Kupka, a pioneer of abstract art and native of nearby Opočno, created the work. Following the vernissage, the painting will return to a private collection, making this a unique viewing opportunity. The museum is highlighting the significance of showcasing a work by a locally-connected, internationally renowned artist. The limited display aims to offer the public access to a piece not typically available for public viewing. This event is expected to draw art enthusiasts to the region.
