A 37-year-old Kosovo native is living in fear after receiving threats following his assistance to police during an operation in Bologna’s Pilastro district on July 19th. The man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, helped officers restrain Abderahim Fakir, who later died. He recounts being asked by police to hold Fakir’s feet during the operation, while Fakir was struggling and disoriented. Since then, he's experienced ongoing threats and feels unable to live normally, even needing to secretly check on his mother at night. He fears for his life and requested his identity be concealed. The incident has left him traumatized and living as a virtual recluse, haunted by the events of that night.
