President Ruto has inaugurated the new 132kV Machakos–Konza–Isinya–Namanga power transmission line, a significant infrastructure project for Kenya. Constructed by KETRACO, the line is designed to bolster electricity supply and stimulate development across the crucial Machakos-Kajiado-Namanga economic corridor. This infrastructural improvement connects key economic hubs—Machakos, Konza, Kajiado, and Namanga—strengthening the national power grid's overall capacity.
