Over 400 Kenyan artisans, including plumbers and contractors, have earned National Construction Authority (NCA) certification following a training initiative by BioTank Africa in Kitengela. This marks the largest Fundi Forum hosted by the organization to date, signifying a major push for upskilling the construction workforce. The program focuses on modern and sustainable construction techniques, particularly related to biodigesters. BioTank Africa is rolling out this county-by-county initiative to reach tradespeople across Kenya. The certification aims to improve the quality of construction work and promote environmentally friendly practices. This effort highlights a commitment to professionalizing the trades and addressing skills gaps within the sector. The training program promises to benefit both the artisans and the construction industry as a whole.
