The government of Kenya is undertaking a nationwide initiative to integrate digital learning into public junior schools. Currently, 10,382 institutions have been equipped with interactive smart boards and laptops for teachers, marking a significant step towards modernizing education. This drive aims to bridge the digital divide within Kenya and adequately prepare students for a future reliant on technology. The initiative seeks to improve classroom instruction and enhance the learning experience for students across the country. ICTA Board Chairperson Lily Ngok is overseeing the program’s implementation as part of this broad modernization effort. The project targets a total of 21,000 junior schools throughout Kenya.
