Kazakhstan is actively working to diversify its exports to South Korea beyond commodities, focusing on opportunities for domestic producers. A Kazakhstan-Korea Business Forum and mission, held in Almaty on August 27, brought together over 200 business and government representatives from both nations. Organized in collaboration with the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA), the event aimed to establish direct business connections. This initiative seeks to capitalize on growing trade between the two countries and unlock new markets for Kazakh goods. The forum provided a platform for networking, exploring potential partnerships, and identifying avenues for increased non-commodity exports from Kazakhstan.
