Kazakhstan is establishing the G-Index Institute, a new research and analytical platform, to strengthen the foundation for women’s entrepreneurship. The announcement was made during the Global Businesswomen Council’s plenary session in Astana on July 2nd. The institute will focus on developing a robust methodology specifically for understanding and supporting female-led businesses in the country. This initiative aims to align with existing public policies focused on human capital development, localization of production, and SME support. The G-Index Institute will serve as an independent body dedicated to evidence-based research in this critical economic area. This move signals Kazakhstan’s commitment to fostering a more inclusive and dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem. It's expected to provide valuable data and insights for policymakers and business leaders alike.
