Kazakhstan is enhancing its aviation ties with China through new flight routes. China Eastern Airlines will launch direct flights between Astana and Shanghai this fall, improving connectivity for business and tourism. Simultaneously, FlyArystan, a Kazakh low-cost carrier, will begin service between Almaty and Chongqing in September. These developments were discussed during a meeting between Saltanat Tompiyeva, Head of Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Committee, and Chinese aviation officials.
