A fire broke out in an apartment building in the Ráj district of Karviná on Saturday afternoon. Firefighters successfully rescued four people from the building, leading them to safety. In addition to the human residents, firefighters also rescued two cats from the blaze. One of the cats was experiencing respiratory distress and was administered oxygen therapy at the scene. The extent of the fire damage and the cause of the incident are currently under investigation. Authorities have not released details regarding any injuries sustained by the rescued individuals. The quick response of the fire department prevented further escalation and potential harm.
