Work has come to a complete standstill at the Kakanj Brown Coal Mine in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The stoppage is caused by a company's inability to certify medical records for its workers. This disruption is causing significant damage to the energy sector of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The President of the Management Board of the Independent Union of Mine Workers FBiH, Husic, has spoken out regarding the situation. He emphasized that miners have historically sacrificed their lives for the state. He stated that the union does not seek conflict but is demanding fair treatment. The union is urging for a quick resolution to resolve the operations.
